Yes! However, because of the way I source materials, be aware there may be limitations on what I can make. If I need to source a material not already in my inventory, it may take time to track down what I need for the project. Contact me with your request and I’ll work with you to make it happen!

Not buying new means never buying direct from a retailer that sells new products. An unfortunate side-effect of mass production is massive waste, because retailers constantly over-produce and cycle out inventory, much of which enters the waste stream. The manufacturing process itself produces waste and pollution, and the manufacturing operations are (at best) often performed by underpaid and overworked laborers. I choose to side-step that system by using materials already circulating in my community.

Thrift stores, creative re-use shops (like Up-Stitch), yard sales, Buy Nothing groups, community free swaps, Facebook Marketplace, and friends who are decluttering!

I don’t want you to be stuck with an unsatisfactory product! However, I am a one-person operation attempting to make a living off my art, so returns will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to avoid fraudulent activity. I will accept and refund items that are returned in new condition within 30 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

I take great care in selecting and processing my materials before and after use. All raw materials are quarantined and exposed to extreme temperatures to kill any potential pests. Once I finish an item, it is thoroughly washed prior to shipping.
And by the way - don’t assume that new materials are any more sanitary! Between muggy & infested warehouses, shopper’s sneezes and pokes, and chemical residue from manufacturing, new materials should be treated exactly the same way.
